Entrepreneurial opportunity recognition, a critical precursor to the startup process, is complex phenomenon influenced by multitude of factors. This article provides an in-depth exploration theoretical frameworks that underpin entrepreneurial recognition. Drawing on cognitive, resource-based, effectuation, and network theories, we examine intricate interplay cognitive processes, resource leveraging, decision-making principles, social networks in shaping how entrepreneurs identify capitalize opportunities.
